The Significance of June 1st

Each year on this day, Daheshists celebrate the birthday anniversary of their Beloved Prophet Dahesh. This year Daheshists will celebrate the 99th birthday anniversary, a little over 24 years since his departure from this world. June 1st is a day of celebration and at the same time a day of remembrance and reflection. If you were present back when Dahesh lived in our midst, you would remember his: beautiful smile, resolute personality, compassionate nature, fatherly love, sense of humor, and charisma. You would also remember his: long days that often translated into sleepless nights, hard work, physical pain, mental anguish resulting from the behavior of certain individuals, and total dedication to his Holy Mission. You would reflect on his: invaluable pieces of advice, constant encouragement, spiritual nurturing, and the impact he made on your life.
Many were the people that came to know our Beloved Prophet, yet very few truly understood and appreciated his true identity or what he represented. What does it mean to be one of a handful of people out of more than 6 billion to have a face-to-face relationship with a Prophet of God? To say that it is a great honor would be an understatement, but it is also great lesson in humility and awe. It is a relationship that imposes a tremendous responsibility on our shoulder. So, who is our Beloved Prophet? In his revealed writings, he writes: “…we were lifted to the Heavens until we reached the planet of the Great Prophets—we were taken by a great surprise and a feeling of awe that is beyond description. There was Lord Christ engaged in a dialogue with Moses, Elijah, Hosea, the Prophets Solomon and his father David, Abraham, Jacob…there was Daniel, the Prophet of God who was thrown unjustly in a den of hungry lions, yet they would not harm him despite their extreme hunger. From their dialogue, I realized that they are all one Person with many Sayyals [Spiritual Fluids]. Each one of these Prophets is a Sayyal from the Main Person and had elevated or degraded his Sayyals with his conduct. They all visited planet Earth at various periods and under different names, while in reality they are all one Prophet sent to Earth to establish a religion that corresponds to the Sayyals of the people living in the era that he materialized in.”
“As to Lord Christ, he issued blame and rebuke for his people, the Jews, who in an act of aggression, led him unjustly to the cross. He continued his conversation with Moses and the Prophets: …I descended to Earth many times under different names, yet they [human beings] did not recognize me and did not follow my teachings, for in every time and place they were closed-minded and cruel. They cared for money, amassing fortunes, accumulating spoils, and indulging in mortal pleasures that would lead them to the blazing fires of hell. However, only a few individuals that I can count with my fingers that had accepted the virtue that I preached. I say this with great regret, for when one of my Sayyals materialized in India under the name of Gandhi, “Judas Iscariot,” who returned to his old ways, assassinated him. The assassination of Gandhi is a great disgrace on the inhabitants of the entire Earth. It means the inhabitants of Earth do not deserve to have a Prophet to be in their midst at all…”
“Lord Christ continued his conversation by saying: I am addressing you now, my congregating Sayyals under the names of many Prophets, for you are me; i.e. you originated from my Sayyals and descended to Earth to fulfill a Divine Message. That’s why I addressed the Jews by saying: “I did not come to destroy but to fulfill,” [“Do not think that I have come to do away with the Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets. I have not come to do away with them, but to make their teachings come true.” Matthew 5:17] and it is documented in the gospels of my Disciples who recorded my sayings and parables. Is it logical to contradict what I had built in previous and consecutive life cycles? It was for this reason that I stated my known expression. I would have been stoned had I said: “It is I, who established the teachings that came through Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Hosea…etc., because it was I, who was called by these names.” I followed the saying: “address people according to their intellect.” For this reason, I addressed them in symbolism that in time would be deciphered and would clearly reveal my words to the world.”
“When I used to be known as Jesus Christ, my birth took place in a manger located in the city of Bethlehem and I then grew up in the city of Nazareth. The laws that the Creator had placed for his creatures on Earth applied to me, for I used to get hungry, thirsty, happy, sad, and be subjected to many of the factors that every human being faces—man and woman alike. In that particular life, I became weak when it was revealed to me that I would be crucified. My crucifixion marked the inhabitants of Earth with an eternal label of shame and created for them a severe and horrible retribution, for they committed an historical crime of epic proportions against a man that summoned everyone to virtue, so they rewarded him with crucifixion for preaching forgiveness, loving the enemy, blessing those that curse you, having compassion towards the wretched, his calling for the support of the weak in their plight against the mighty, criticizing oppression, attacking oppressive rulers, and unveiling the shameful conduct of the clergy that trade in religion and make it a mean and not an end. I said that I became weak at that time and I raised a prayer to my Creator saying: “My Father, if it is possible, take this cup of suffering from me!”” [Matthew 26:39]
Since I was certain of the necessity of my crucifixion in order to completely expose the hypocrisy of humanity; so that everyone is assured that there is no power that can dissuade humanity from their evil path; and since I was certain that my crucifixion will be a lesson to future generations, I became timid and disobeyed the will of my Maker by asking Him to take this cup of suffering from me; meaning that I would not be crucified. The consequences of my request due to my weakness necessitated on the 20th Sayyal—the one that made the request of “taking this cup of suffering from me”—to remain on Earth after the crucifixion for about 20 generations, then would return to “carry its cross again”—the way I carried it in Jerusalem about 20 generations ago—meaning, I will be persecuted again and all people will be afraid of me, defame me, and fabricate all kinds of despicable and disgraceful lies about me, while they are all submerged up to their heads in shameful sins. Had the 15th Sayyal made the request, then I would have materialized in the 15th century, likewise if it was the 12th, 18th, or 10th Sayyal that made the request, then I would have materialized in the corresponding century and relative to its position [Sayyal] in the Worlds of Spirit. For this reason, I materialized in the 20th century and came to be known as “Dahesh” in accordance to what is written in the Gospels “And the Holy Spirit also gives us his witness.” [Hebrews 10:15] The word “witness” [in Arabic], if reversed, spells Dahesh.”
“At that period, I will be given lofty Spiritual powers that enables me to perform miracles that would correspond to the materialistic era of the time. They are material transgressions [of the physical laws] and miracles that bewilder the minds and in a palpable material form that cannot be duplicated. At that time, my Six Spiritual Personalities that reside in six Spiritual Levels will appear—each one higher than the other in Spiritual rank and in ascending order...before I materialized as Christ, I came to Earth many times in Prophetic materializations, for I used to materialize under different names in accordance to the merit of the Sayyals and the corresponding specific timing for their materialization…”
“I was dazzled by the words of Lord Christ and the answers of the Prophets in their Lofty World. I saw a group of angels and a crowd of cherubim giving praise to God and glorifying His Extreme Divine Powers by repeating the word “Holy” while hearing the swishing sound of their transparent wings filling the sky and seeing the lightening surrounding them with its blinding light. I felt awe and reverence within myself for the amazing Heavenly scenes.”
This is the true identity of our Beloved and Guiding Prophet. There is no doubt not whatsoever that Daheshism is a Divine Message and that it will spread throughout the world. The timing of its spreading is not determined by human beings, rather it will be determined by the Divine. As witnesses to the return of Christ, we have responsibilities towards him and God. In the next few years, all the foundations for Daheshism would have been placed and God willing, we will see the light of our Beloved fill the souls of those that merited his guidance.
